Dermal Fillers
Facial volume loss occurs due to the natural aging process (involving collagen loss, decreased facial fat, and muscle atrophy). Volume loss leads to sagging skin and more prominent wrinkles. Fillers help combat these signs of aging. Due to the array of dermal fillers on the market, it’s important to choose an experienced physician who can select the product and treatment most appropriate for you. At ICON, advanced techniques, such as the use of cannulas for injection, are used to optimize results, minimize downtime, and improve safety.

Neuromodulators
Neuromodulators, such as Botox and Dysport, work by blocking nerve signals from conducting to the injected muscles. This results in those injected muscles contracting with less force. The weakened muscles decrease the strain on the skin, thus preventing wrinkles from developing in the first place; or, improving or eliminating the appearance of existing wrinkles. Treatments usually last between three and four months.

Sofwave Skin Tightening
Sofwave is a more comfortable and low-downtime alternative to Ultherapy. The Sofwave ultasound beam creates a cylindrical shaped thermal zone that runs parallel to the skin at about 1.5 mm depth within the skin. This induces your body to create a “healing” response. Hyper Dilute Radiesse

ICON Dermatology & Aesthetics offers many impressive facial rejuvenation procedures, and The Ultimate Duo is one of our most effective. This skin rejuvenation treatment combo pairs the newest RF Microneedling device on the market – the Virtue RF – and an exclusive little to no downtime laser treatment called Cool Peel. The Ultimate Duo helps to stimulate collagen at both the superficial and deeper skin levels without requiring additional significant recovery time. The Virtue RF micro-needling provides deep collagen remodeling and rejuvenation while the Cool Peel produces a superficial injury by delivering high energy in extremely short pulses.
Sculptra
Sculptra is a type of dermal filler that has been in use since it was FDA-approved in 1999. It has long been used for facial rejuvenation, smoothing smile lines, lifting sunken cheeks, and strengthening jawlines. In recent years, however, dermatologists have started using Sculptra in a unique way, to improve skin texture and laxity – think thin, wrinkled and crepey skin of the neck, décolleté, arms, and knees. It has also been used more recently to add volume and shape to the buttock.
