The legendary Fire & Ice Facial is designed to rapidly and safely resurface the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing, softening, and encouraging cellular renewal with little to no downtime.
The Fire & Ice Facial is a 45-minute treatment that begins with a deep skin cleansing with steam followed by the application of an Intensive Resurfacing Masque designed to exfoliate and resurface the top layers of the skin. The skin is then neutralized and The Rejuvenative Cooling Masque is applied. The cooling masque is designed to cool the skin, leaving the skin hydrated. Once the final masque is removed, appropriate clinical skincare is applied leaving skin hydrated and protected.
The Intensive Resurfacing Masque heats up the skin to facilitate the process of exfoliation and resurfacing. The Intensive Resurfacing Masque is formulated with18% unbuffered glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid, retinol, vitamin B3, and potent antioxidants, including green tea extracts. It has a cinnamon scent and tingles a little on the face as it begins to work. This combination of acids, retinol, and powerful antioxidants effectively resurface the skin.
After removing the masque, the Rejuvenative Cooling Masque is applied. This masque will cool and soothe the skin. The Ice masque contains hyaluronic acid, aloe vera gel, Japanese green tea extract, licorice extract, grape seed extract, and rosemary extract. The pampering part of the facial cools the initial “peel” and leaves the skin glowing.
The Fire & Ice facial results are an improvement in fine lines and superficial wrinkles smooths and softens the skin leaving the skin glowing. The skin will also feel tight and firm. The skin may have a mild redness following the treatment, but it is temporary. There should be no scaling or downtime. The Fire and Ice Facial can be repeated at four-week intervals for a series of 6 facials until the desired clinical effect is achieved.
