Psoriasis

Psoriasis can affect the skin, nails and joints. There are multiple subtypes of which plaque psoriasis is the most common. Plaques are red and silvery-white, scaly lesions which occur most commonly on the elbows, knees and scalp. Plaques are often itchy or painful and can cause embarrassment and social isolation.
